Gender-Based Analysis and Gender Equality Strategy Workshop

STEP organized a validation workshop on its Gender-Based Analysis and Gender Equality Strategy that took place at Co-opBank on Friday morning, March 23, 2018.

Invitees included Co-opBank senior management and STEP, representatives from the Embassy of Canada, and selected PCFs and branches.

The STEP Co-Directors, Mr. Tâm and Rudi Schuetz noted in their opening speeches the necessity of Gender awareness and importance to address gender-related interventions in STEP.

Ms. Kate Reekie, Head of Cooperation at the Embassy, introduced Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy that is instrumental for Global Affairs Canada funded projects around the globe. The STEP-DID Gender Advisor, Ms. Lan finally presented key findings and recommendations that was accompanied by a lively discussion among participants.
