Project Steering Committee Meeting

Thursday, June 28, the Project Steering Committee (PSC) of STEP has met for the first time.

The meeting involved representatives from GAC, SBV, Co-opBank and STEP. Ms. Kate Reekie – Head of Cooperation, Embassy of Canada and Mr. Nguyễn Đức Dũng – Deputy General Director of Co-opBank co-chaired the meeting.

We have discussed and agreed on various crucial matters of the project:

• The development and current status of STEP
• The main findings and recommendations for the three diagnosed components of STEP: Credit & Risk management, Products & Services, IT and Operations
• The annual work plan until the end of the financial year 2018
• The pilot implementation strategy (PIS)

The PSC meeting is an important event that will lever STEP’s various interventions in the upcoming implementation period.
