On November 9, 2021 DID in Vietnam successfully organized a training course on first aid and emergency for its staff.

This training course aims to raise employees’ awareness of the importance of first aid for occupational accidents and equip them with knowledge and skills in first aid for occupational accidents in order to comply with the legal regulations on management of occupational hygiene and health of employees/workers at Circular 19/2016/TT-BYT dated June 30, 2016 of the Ministry of Health.

The training program covers the basic principles of first aid emergencies. It provided general introduction on the first aid kit; first aid and surgical emergency techniques such as wound dressing, temporary hemostasis, temporary fracture fixation, burn treatment, food poisoning; methods and techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the event of an accident; transporting methods with and without a stretcher.

Besides, safety measures to ensure the control of the Covid-19 epidemic in the workplace have been also discussed in this training.

After learning the theory, the learners practiced the learned contents and took the exams for certificates at the end of the training
